The Three Marketing Videos Every Business Needs

5/4/2022

A Black man sitting on a couch recording a webinar.
A whopping 88% of people have reported that watching a video has convinced them to buy a service or product (Wyzowl). So should you be using marketing videos to connect with audiences? The short answer to that question is: Yes. But it doesn't have to be overwhelming.
To help demystify the process, we've invited colleague Brian Rolling to share his advice. Brian is the founder and Chief Video Officer of Let’s Roll, a short form video agency that specializes in video marketing strategy and execution.
In this video, Brian Rolling shares his advice on the three marketing videos every business needs.

The Three Most Important Marketing Videos All Brands Need

Video marketing can be overwhelming. You’ve got a number of different platforms to publish video content to, such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat. You’ve got all of these different people shouting at you to create, create, create, create.

It's really hard to know where to start. Well, I always recommend these three videos because they're going to give you a really good foundation that you can build on top of. They're going to help tell your story in a really diverse way. And they're going to give you a really good one, two, three punch within the context of a paid media (advertising) strategy.

Highlighting Product Benefits

The first video I recommend is a video that highlights your product benefits. Now, this is the video that shows off the benefits of your product or your service to your customer, and essentially tells people what problem you're solving in their lives.

Founder’s Story

The second video was a founder's story. This answers the question of: what is the reason behind the existence of this company? What makes you unique and different from other offerings out there?

Testimonial Videos

The third type of video you should consider creating are customer testimonial videos. Now, this is the proof of everything you've been saying. Your potential customers can hear it directly from other customers.

Sequence of Marketing Videos

In the first two videos, you've established the benefits your product or service has. You've told people why your company or organization exists, and this customer testimonial video brings it all together by showing that what you've created actually works.

These three videos are where all brands should start when they're thinking about video marketing.
