This position can work remotely in Wisconsin or Illinois and is expected to work 10-15 hours each week.
In the role of SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT MANAGER, you will be developing and executing social media strategies and managing relationships with clients. Responsibilities will vary based on current client and project needs, but may include writing and scheduling content for social media channels, graphic design using Canva, publishing content to websites, setting up emails within e-newsletter platforms, account / client management including proactively identifying client business goals and working to achieve those goals, developing and implementing project schedules, and reporting on the results of campaigns across multiple channels. This role also oversees community management and social media report creation.
We use web content management systems like WordPress so basic knowledge of HTML will be helpful and search engine optimization experience is a plus. Experience using Sprout Social, Facebook Business Manager, Canva, and Mailchimp will also be helpful in this role.
Your BA in Marketing/Advertising, Communications, Journalism, or English – or 4+ years of equivalent job experience – will be required to provide the foundation needed to be successful in this role. The following skills are also needed to meet the requirements of the SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT MANAGER:
There may be occasional travel to work with clients or for our company retreat so you will need to have the ability to drive or take transit. We provide you with the necessary software and tools for the job and ask you to provide your own laptop or computer.
